da wazamba： Manchester City fans have given mixed reactions after the news that Rodri could miss the crucial fixture against Liverpool.
da doce： The Spaniard came off against Atalanta in midweek and The Liverpool Echo have since reported he sustained a hamstring injury that could keep him out of the game.
Rodri has stepped in at centre-back for the past few games in the wake of injuries to Aymeric Laporte, John Stones and Nicolas Otamendi. The latter two have since returned, but Laporte is expected to miss a large part of the 2019-20 season, leaving a big gap in the side.
In truth, it has been a disastrous time with injuries at the back for City, with Fernandinho also having to step into a makeshift defence for Pep Guardiola. However, the return of Stones could fix things slightly for the Citizens ahead of the massive tie at Anfield.
City will need a win to avoid potentially going nine points behind Liverpool, whilst a victory could claw the Sky Blues back within three.
