da 888casino: Leeds look set to be without Pablo Hernandez this weekend as the Spaniard misses the clash with Charlton due to a muscular problem.
That’s according to Phil Hay who was in attendance at Marcelo Bielsa’s press conference on Thursday.
Hernandez was taken off with 16 minutes remaining against Derby as he was replaced by Barry Douglas.
Bielsa ruled out an injury after the game but it appears as though he isn’t fit after all. As a result, Helder Costa will finally earn his first start in the Championship for the Whites.
It was news that caused mass discussion among the Elland Road faithful as one supporter declared that they weren’t sure whether to be happy or sad.
A further fan noted how this news could be a blessing in disguise for Leeds. Others decided to analyse Hernandez’s performances this season. One individual claimed the Spaniard hadn’t been up to scratch recently.
The 34-year-old has found himself involved in four goals this term after contributing 12 strikes and the same number of assists last season, via WhoScored.
His replacement, Costa, has registered three assists and a goal in all competitions since arriving in west Yorkshire.
Here’s the best of the reaction.
