AC Milan have reportedly agreed a deal to sign Brighton left-back Pervis Estupinan for a deal worth up to €19 million (£16m/$22m).

Fabrizio Romano reports that Milan have struck an agreement with Brighton to sign the Seagulls ace for €17m plus €2m in add-ons. He adds that the Ecuadorian international will sign a 'long-term deal' with the Italian giants.

Estupinan opened the door to a Brighton exit in June when he said "he would like to keep growing" and that he was assessing his options this summer. Despite being linked with Manchester United, the former Villarreal man appears to have chosen Milan instead.

The defender swapped Villarreal for Brighton in 2022 for around £15m ($20m) and went on to make 104 appearances in all competitions, scoring five goals along the way. His first season at the club was very impressive but injuries and dips in form, arguably, prevented him from hitting those heights again.
