da realsbet: Arsene Wenger hopes his Arsenal team can react in the right manner when they face Braga in the Champions League on Tuesday.
da bet esporte: The Gunners threw away a two-goal lead against Tottenham on Saturday when they contrived to lose 3-2 to their north London rivals.
A victory would have lifted Wenger's team to the top of the Premier League table as Chelsea also lost at the weekend, and the Frenchman knows it was a wasted opportunity.
He said in the build-up to the match against last season's Portuguese champions:"My job is to win football games and, when I don't do that, I am very angry and frustrated. But we have a healthy and a very ambitious spirit.
"The players were very, very down. They know that they basically threw away a game which was in our hands. On the other hand, because the players are intelligent they know as well that in this game they have shown huge potential.
"The disappointment is down to the result and to the fact we could have taken command of the league, but overall there is no reason for it to affect deeply the confidence of the team.
"When you play against opponents of quality, you have to accept defeats as well. If you look too much at the result, you become tense. You have to release the tension as much as you can – and you do it by focusing on the technical side.
"It is a bit like a Formula One driver when he goes into the curve and thinks 'I want to cross the line at the end', then he goes in the wall. But if he focuses on how he wants to take the curve, he has a chance to get out of it and it's the same in our game."Subscribe to Football FanCast News Headlines by Email
