da bet7:
da marjack bet: The Athletic’s Liverpool correspondent James Pearce has provided a timely update on Jordan Henderson.
Pearce has revealed that the 55-cap England international is back in full training ahead of the Reds’ crucial Champions League clash against Atletico Madrid, in which Jurgen Klopp’s side need to overturn a 1-0 deficit if they are to progress further in the competition.
Henderson – who is rated at £31.5m on Transfermarkt – suffered an injury in the first leg which has ruled him out of Liverpool’s encounters against West Ham, Watford, Chelsea and Bournemouth.
The European champions have suffered defeat in two of those outings and were also unconvincing even in victories over West Ham and Bournemouth – they seem to be sorely missing their captain.
So, in what will surely come as bad news for Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone given Henderson’s impact on Liverpool, Pearce’s update on the former Sunderland man is a welcome one for the Merseysiders.
