However, the United fans have retaliated in the banter war by posting a picture of Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard, relaxing on a settee with the caption, “Steven Gerrard prepares for another night of Champions League football”.
The joke might back fire as Stevie G won the Champions League with Liverpool in 2005, and with Liverpool looking like a stronger side than Manchester United this season, it looks like Liverpool fans could be doing something with Nemanja Vidic next season.
