da realsbet: Out of nowhere – much like it has been over the last few seasons – the Gunners have suddenly found some kind of form and are again looking likely to secure a top four finish in the Premier League, as well as having an FA Cup final to look forward to.
da aviator aposta: It is a position that Arsene Wenger’s men have become used to over the past decade, finishing fourth six time sin eleven years, and it looks like the men from North London are not quite happy to let go of it.
Three wins on the bounce against Manchester United, Southampton and Stoke has given Arsenal fans some hope, but their recent uplift in form should not distract from what has been the most disappointing season for the Gunners in almost two decades.
A number of the club’s high profile stars have failed to deliver this season, and none less so than former Real Madrid star and Germany international Mesut Ozil, who is valued at £42.5m by transfermarkt.com. While 13 goals and 11 assists may not sound a bad return by any shape of the imagination, it is the German’s perceived lack of energy, effort and endeavour in the middle of the park that has left Gunners fans frustrated.
Arsenal have craved a combative midfielder to boss the centre of the park for years, yet Ozil’s nonchalance is anything but that, and while it is great when it works, it can be disastrous for both the player and the team when it doesn’t.
Linked away with a move a move away from the Emirates this summer, it could be time for Arsene Wenger to cash in while he can and re-coup some of the money he paid for his services back in the summer of 2013.
The question really is however, would Arsenal miss him? Have your say in the poll below…
